INSIGHT solution is implemented based upon the following framework:

Development Approach

Step 1.
Establish all the relevant data/information in a single location and ensure that it is accurate – a Single Point of Truth.

  • Implement INSIGHT® Service Management
  • Identify data to be collected
  • Collect and consolidate current inventory data
  • Collect billing data to validated inventory set
  • Produce reports for business validation

Step 2.
Configure the system in such a way that it is meaningful to the enterprise. Capture the enterprise business rules so that the system will deliver consistent and accurate outputs by configuring Service Management with:

  • Specific data and business rules
  • Organizational structures
  • Services and products
  • Enterprise specific fields

Step 3.
Identify and implement the necessary changes to improve the overall efficiency of the process:

  • Review existing service management process
  • Define improvements to service management process
  • Rationalization: accounts, bill pull dates, payments
  • Training

Step 4.
Produce reports and outputs that are meaningful to users and provide a clear insight into how expenditure is being utilized. Management & Control:

  • Articulate management reporting requirements
  • Define cost allocation models
  • Implement INSIGHT® Bill Reporting for Managers
    • System configuration/implementation
    • Training
  • Initiate cost sign off and issue resolution process
  • Rationalize and optimize service

Step 5.
Objective: Identify areas that can be improved and how such improvement can be implemented:

  • Identify process improvements
  • Identify system improvements
  • Assess feasibility
  • Design, develop and deliver improvements and customizations
